The second chapter of Bar Vino’s Italia × Australia: A Wine Series moves into the reds.

For one evening, we’ll bring together a considered selection of exceptional Italian and Australian wines, drawn from Bar Vino’s extensive cellar and curated by sommelier Kim Townsend. Poured side by side, each wine will be paired with a four-course menu from the Bar Vino kitchen.

Beginning with Rosato before moving through Pinot Noir, Cabernet and Syrah, the evening explores how grape variety, place and winemaking can shape what arrives in the glass.

This isn’t Italy versus Australia. There are no winners to choose.

Instead, it’s an opportunity to taste, compare and discover, guided by Kim and the Bar Vino team in a relaxed setting, with classic Italian dishes made using exceptional Australian produce.

Whether you know your way around a wine list or simply enjoy discovering a great bottle, everyone is welcome at the table.
